Cohabitation

Well, bedtime has become quite a problem as of late here in Drosche Land. For the past few days our usually easy routine of bath and bedtime has been nowhere to be found. In its place has been crying, whining, coming out of their room repeatedly, and just general chaos. Why? Who knows? The odd thing is that it has been ending quickly and in the same way - with the boys sharing a bed. Again why? Who knows? This all began a few days ago when Amy, finally at a loss of what to do, put Braeden into Jack's bed to sleep with him. Immediately they were quiet and went to sleep. The same thing happened last night: bath, devotions & prayers, bedtime, struggle, sleeping in the same bed. Odd. Not that we have a problem with it. Right now we are at the point that whatever works is great! So, tonight during bathtime, Braeden asks Jack if he can sleep in his bed, the answer of course was yes. But Amy had the better idea of pushing their beds together so that they were still close, but each actually had room to be comfortable. They, especially Braeden, were wary about this at first, but eventually gave in. The result: basically no problems. There was a bit of calling for us at the beginning, but nothing compared to what we have been going through: a knockdown, drag out WWE-style fight to get them to sleep. So, while we still don't know, and may never know, the cause of the drama; we seem to have, thankfully, found a solution. Hopefully this will put an end to our bedtime insanity. We'll see. For now the boys cohabitate with their sleeping arrangements, and Amy and I proceed with caution!

All is well, with bedtime buddies, in Drosche Land.
