"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

About Me

Who Am I?

I am:

A Christian.  I'm Lutheran and my faith is ever growing and changing.  I work hard to let HIM guide my life.  I'm not always successful but I'm always trying.

A Husband.  I've been married to my beautiful wife and best friend Amy for nearly 8 years.  We've known each other since 7th Grade and have been classmates, enemies, and best friends but have always been soul mates.

A Father.  I have 2 sons, Braeden who is 5 and Jackson who is 4.  They are wild and crazy boys but I wouldn't have them any other way.  I will also soon be the father to a daughter, Stella, who is scheduled to join us in June 2012.  I can't wait to meet my little princess.

A Teacher.  First Grade to be exact.  I teach at Trinity Lutheran School in Houston, TX and I love my job.  I have fun every day and am always learning.

A Photographer.  Ok, maybe not professionally, but I love taking pictures.  On my dslr or iPhone, anywhere and everywhere.

A Coffee Enthusiast.  Some may say addict, I prefer enthusiast.  Coffee, any kind and any amount.  At home, at work, on the go; I'm never too far from a great cup of it!

A TV Junkie.  Again, the term addict could be used.  I love all kinds of television although reality TV, the crazier the better, is my weakness!

  2. Oh, I see you are Lutheran. I am too, although I identify more with being a Christian. Neat you are teacher. My daughter also teaches (8th), so I hear about all the ups and downs of the field, and have a lot of respect for what teachers do! Nice blog :)

  3. I am so happy I found your blog on the A to Z. I've commented on a bunch of your posts--really liking them--and I am SO excited to find out you're Christian AND Lutheran--so am I! I'm actually the daughter of a Lutheran teacher/minister of music and the daughter-in-law of an LCMS pastor, and my husband and I just graduated from a Lutheran university. SO fun to find fellow Christian (especially Lutheran!) bloggers! :)
