Each year we head out and enjoy a day of feeding goats, watching pig races, eating snow cones, riding the corn (now cow) train, hand-picking pumpkins, and just generally having some farm fun! This year was no different except for the fact that the pumpkin selection has been severely affected by the recent drought. In fact, they didn't even have a crop this year. Instead they had pumpkins brought in from elsewhere and laid in a field. The boys didn't mind, to them they still picked their pumpkins out of the field at the farm, but Amy and I were a little bummed. Nonetheless we had a ton of fun. At dinner tonight we shared our favorite highlights from the day. Amy - the train ride, Braeden - the snow cones, Jack - the bumpy slides, and Me - successfully bringing my family through the corn maze, thus saving us all from being lost forever!
So, the pumpkin shortage aside, it was a typical fun Drosche day at the pumpkin farm! As you can see for yourself below!
All is well, picture perfect, in Drosche Land.
